Practice areas

Serving as legal assistant, supporting the legal and engineers team, performing various tasks such as:
Performing phonetic searching to assess the viability of trademarks, drafting and preparation of registration applications, preparation of notices and responses to objections before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial, IMPI), as well as preparation of opposition notices for trademark granting.

Reporting to National and International clients in Latin America.

Attending appointments in the IMPI.

Support in the litigation area of the legal department in the preparation of review resources, applications for revocation, invalidity, infringement, and border measures before the IMPI.

Preparation of invalidity applications before the Federal Court of Fiscal and Administrative Justice (Tribunal Federal de Justicia Administrativa  or TFJA), Intellectual Property Specialized Chamber.

Expedition of ocular inspection visits and inspection visits before particulars and government authorities.

Preparation work registration applications, drafting of copyright transfer agreements and requirement replies before the National Copyright Institute of Mexico (Instituto Nacional de Derechos de Autor or INDAUTOR).

Academic studies

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM), 2011.
